We are partnering with a leading banking institution and are looking for a Mid.NET Engineer to join their Core Banking Technology team.

This is an opportunity to work on mission-critical financial systems in a highly regulated environment where performance, scalability, resilience, and data integrity truly matter.

If you enjoy designing distributed systems, shaping architecture decisions, and building scalable banking platforms using modern engineering practices — this role is for you.

💡 What You’ll Be Working On

  • Designing and developing enterprise-grade core banking applications using .NET / C#
  • Applying Clean Architecture and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles
  • Implementing CQRS and event-driven workflows
  • Building and maintaining microservices architectures
  • Developing high-performance ASP.NET Core REST APIs
  • Implementing internal communication via gRPC
  • Integrating distributed systems using Kafka
  • Writing scalable, non-blocking code using asynchronous programming patterns
  • Participating in architectural decisions and technical design discussions
  • Supporting production systems in high-availability environments
  • Collaborating closely with architects, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain backend application using .NET Framework and .NET Core;
  • Participate in the design and implementation of APIs and integration services with external systems;
  • Collaborate with Senior Engineers and Functional Analysts to analyze requirements and implement them in code;
  • Participate in code review, unit testing and QA processes from the development side;
  • Support bug fixing and optimization of existing code;
  • Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
  • 3+ years of experience developing applications with C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core;
  • Good knowledge of consuming and designing REST APIs;
  • Experience with relational databases (SQL Server or equivalent);
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with clear timelines;
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps etc;
  • Basic knowledge of front-end technologies;
  • Prior experience in a banking or fintech environment.
