We are currently seeking a talented Senior Automation Tester on behalf of a major European Union Organisation.

Working model: Remote

Salary range: 2900 – 3200 euros gross

Job Profile

We are looking for an experienced Senior Automation Tester to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications and services.

The successful candidate will have strong experience in automated testing, web applications, APIs, and Agile/Scrum environments, with the ability to work closely with developers, stakeholders, and business teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for web applications and APIs.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts for new and existing products.
• Develop and execute integration and end-to-end tests.
• Support testing activities throughout the full software development lifecycle.
• Identify, document, track, and follow up on defects and issues.
• Work with issue management and customer ticketing systems.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of test automation frameworks, tools, and processes.
• Collaborate closely with developers, testers, Team Leaders, stakeholders, and business customers.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and activities.
• Support testing across different platforms and environments, including web and mobile applications.
• Perform or support API, integration, security, health-check, and other non-functional testing activities where required.
• Prepare clear and accurate technical and end-user documentation.
• Communicate testing results, issues, risks, and requirements effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum B2 level of English according to CEFR.
• At least 4 years of combined post-secondary education and professional experience.
• Level 6 degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent certificates.
• At least 5 years of professional experience using automated testing frameworks for: C#, JavaScript, .NET web applications, APIs
• Experience participating in at least two full-lifecycle software development projects.
• Proven experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience writing and executing integration and end-to-end tests for web applications and services.
• Strong understanding of the Agile software development lifecycle.
• Ability to create effective test plans and test cases for new and existing products.
• ISTQB Technical Test Analysis Certificate or equivalent.

• FX standards

Communication & Documentation

The successful candidate should be able to:

• Write clear technical specifications and concept documents.
• Prepare technical and end-user documentation.
• Communicate effectively with: Development and testing teams, Team Leaders, Stakeholders, Internal customers, Business customers
• Clearly communicate technical requirements, user requirements, test results, issues, and risks.
