We are currently looking for a talented Application Support Engineer (entry level) on behalf of one of our major clients in the IT sector.

As an entry level Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our client, troubleshooting issues, and assisting software deployments and upgrades. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain hands-on experience in the field of application support and software development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and quality assurance engineers, to identify and resolve technical problems.
  • Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis to diagnose software issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Assist with software deployments, upgrades, and configurations, ensuring smooth transition and minimal disruption to client operations.
  • Communicate effectively with the client to understand their requirements, gather feedback, and provide timely updates on issue resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all team members.
  • Basic understanding of software development concepts and methodologies.
  • Prior experience in a customer support or technical support role is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
