About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Senior MS SQL Database Administrator to join our team on-site in Poland. You’ll be the backbone of our database operations — keeping systems resilient, performant, and compliant — while driving continuous improvement across our data infrastructure.

Responsibilities

– Administration and monitoring of MS SQL-based database services

– Providing 2nd-line support to database management

– Updating technical documentation and operating procedures

– Troubleshooting databases

– Deploying databases

– Extracting, transforming, and loading data

– Planning capacity and availability of databases, tuning and optimizing performance

– Implementing changes according to ICT change management procedures

– Database monitoring and tuning

– Database incident management

– Reporting on activities

– Ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy

– Other specific duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

– Minimum 5 years of IT professional experience

– Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar DBA role

– Experience working in restricted environments

– Hands-on experience with the Active Directory tiering model

– Knowledge of the DBPlus Performance Monitor application

– Experience creating and managing Always On Availability Groups

– Mastery of recovery models (Full, Simple, Bulk-Logged) and disaster recovery methodologies

– Expertise in SQL Profiler, Execution Plans, and Dynamic Management Views (DMVs) for performance diagnostics

– Experience administering complex MS SQL systems in distributed environments

– Expert-level database optimization, tuning, and capacity planning

– Experience with MS SQL scripting, data transformations, and ETL tools including cloud services

– Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Microsoft Business Intelligence on-premises tools

– Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Microsoft Fabric tools and services

– Hands-on experience with monitoring systems

– Hands-on experience administering virtual infrastructure

– Basic knowledge of other Microsoft system administration

– Strong English language skills (B2 or above)

Required Certifications

– Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate

– Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate
