This is a fully remote position open to candidates across Europe. You will design, build, and maintain modern, production-grade web applications that often involve complex data, semantic technologies, and multi-tier architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable front-end applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Translate complex business requirements into clean, performant, and maintainable user interfaces
• Collaborate with backend teams, semantic web specialists, and stakeholders using modelling languages (UML/BPMN)
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle within Agile/Scrum or RUP environments
• Work with relational databases, Git-based version control, and CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure high code quality, accessibility, responsiveness, and adherence to modern web standards
• Support occasional end-user needs and contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing

Hard Requirements

• University degree + minimum 10 years of combined relevant studies and professional experience after secondary school (e.g., 5-year Master’s + 5 years professional experience or equivalent)
• Minimum 7 years of professional IT experience
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience developing production web/database/applications
• Strong, demonstrable expertise in React and TypeScript (including JavaScript, HTML, CSS) — with a proven track record building and maintaining production web applications
• Solid understanding of modern web development and multi-tier architecture
• Experience with UML, BPMN, or similar modelling/business process
• Working knowledge of a formal software development methodology (Agile/Scrum, RUP, or equivalent)
• Good familiarity with relational databases
• Comfortable with Git and CI/CD workflows (GitLab CI is a plus)
• English C1 level or higher (excellent written and spoken communication)

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Angular or other modern front-end frameworks
• Exposure to data-intensive applications or knowledge graphs
• Experience with AWS cloud services
• Strong UI/UX sensibility (wireframing, prototyping, WCAG accessibility, mobile-first design)
• Familiarity with semantic web technologies (RDF, SPARQL, GraphDB/triplestores)
• Python experience (especially backend or data pipelines)
• Knowledgeof GDPR-compliant data practices
• Experience with end-user support or ticketing systems
• French or German at B2+ level (highly valued for client engagements in Switzerland, Luxembourg, and France)
