Job Profile:
We are seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our Data Analytics & AI team. Working under the guidance of the Lead Analytics Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise reporting and analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. You will collaborate closely with the Analytics Engineers, Data Engineers, AI/ML Engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality analytics solutions that support data-driven decision making across the organization.
This role is highly technical and hands-on, requiring strong expertise in data visualization, semantic modeling, Power BI development, and business analysis.
To succeed in this role, you will need to:

- Be passionate about developing intuitive, high-quality dashboards and analytics solutions.
- Demonstrate strong technical expertise in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and analytics engineering best practices.

- Take ownership of assigned deliverables while ensuring quality, accuracy, and performance.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve reporting solutions, development practices, and user experience.

More specifically you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise dashboards, reports, and scorecards using Power BI.
- Develop and maintain semantic models, calculations, KPIs, and business metrics to support reporting and analytics.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions.
- Provide technical guidance on Power BI to junior members of the team
- Work closely with the Data Engineers and AI/ML Engineers to define data models, semantic models, and reporting requirements that support enterprise analytics, as well as integrate predictive analytics, AI insights, and advanced analytical capabilities into business reporting where appropriate.
- Perform data validation, testing, and quality assurance to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
- Contribute to establishing and maintaining analytics engineering best practices, documentation, and development standards.
- Support the Lead Analytics Engineer in reviewing solution designs and promoting visualization best practices.
- Assist business users with report enhancements, troubleshooting, and adoption of self-service analytics.
- Stay current with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and emerging analytics technologies to continuously improve solutions.
What we are looking for:
- At least 4-6 years of experience in analytics and data visualization, designing and delivering reporting solutions to meet business needs
- Strong expertise in Power BI development, including semantic modeling, DAX, Power Query, and report design.
- Proven experience in data modeling, data preparation, and transformation to support effective reporting and visual analytics
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to develop clear and actionable dashboards and reports
- Experience working with cloud-based data environments, preferably Microsoft Fabric
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with DAX or similar languages for creating advanced calculations and measures in reporting tools
- Strong experience in Python and PySpark for data analytics
- Experience optimizing Power BI datasets, reports, and overall solution performance.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain analytical concepts to business users.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a cross-functional team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Python for advanced data analytics and integration with visualization platforms
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices in data visualization for large-scale environments
- Experience in performance optimization of dashboards and large-scale reporting solutions
- Familiarity with AI-assisted analytics, Copilot for Power BI, or integrating AI/ML outputs into reporting solutions.
- Familiarity with Power BI deployment pipelines and workspace management.
