About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Technology Manager on behalf of one of our major clients located in Nicosia, Cyprus.
As a Senior Technology Manager, you will be responsible for the design and execution of the organization’s technology vision, ensuring that digital, AI, and innovation initiatives meaningfully enhance learning outcomes and organizational performance. This is a senior leadership position suited to a forward-thinking professional who can drive digital transformation, guide the evolution of products and systems, and cultivate a culture of experimentation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Leading a diverse team of developers, designers, and digital experts, the role ensures that technology is effectively embedded across all programs and functions as a core driver of impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and lead the implementation and delivery of the organization’s Technology, AI, and Digital Transformation roadmap in line with strategic priorities.
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of digital solutions, including product development, learning platforms, data infrastructure, and automation initiatives.
- Establish and maintain high standards in cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
- Guide and support design and engineering teams, promoting best practices in UX/UI, scalability, and inclusive design.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Research, Education, and Business Development to co-create technology-driven solutions.
- Lead IT operations in cloud environments, IT infrastructure and digital workflows to ensure reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
- Take ownership of technology-related budgeting and external partnerships, ensuring effective resource allocation and strong vendor performance.
- Drive the adoption of AI and strengthen digital capabilities across the organization.
- Support team growth through coaching, mentoring, and the promotion of agile and innovative ways of working.
- Act as a representative of the organization within national and European technology and innovation ecosystems.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Professional experience (7+ years) in leading technology functions, digital innovation, or AI-driven transformation.
- Strong track record in managing multidisciplinary technical teams and delivering complex digital initiatives.
- In-depth knowledge of software engineering, data systems, cybersecurity practices, and IT governance frameworks.
- Exposure to AI applications, automation technologies, extended reality (XR), or digital education tools is considered a strong advantage.
- Experience working with EU-funded projects or within mission-oriented organizations is a plus.
