We are currently seeking a talented Scrum Master/Project Manager on behalf of a major European Union Organisation.

Working model: Remote

Salary range: 2900 – 3200 euros gross

Command of English language according to CEFR: C1

Combined post-secondary education and work experience: 8 years

Education: Level 6 degree in Computer Science or related field 

(Optional) Advantageous Education: Level 7 degree. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunication Engineering or Business Administration

Specific Professional Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master in software development teams
• Directly participated in at least 4 projects concluded with successful implementation of solutions in its complete lifecycle in the roles of Project Manager, preferably supplemented by experience in PM2 documentation
• Experience in writing project initiation requests, business cases, plans, concept documents, risk management
• Proven track record of facilitating all Scrum ceremonies (Daily, Planning, Review, Retrospective) and coaching teams in self-organization
• Teamwork experience with agile teamwork frameworks
• Versed with PM2
• Expert in managing complex, business-led IT projects
• Practical knowledge of Agile metrics (Velocity, Burn-down/up charts, CFD) to drive team continuous improvement
• Strong experience in dual roles (Scrum Master + Project Manager), balancing agile delivery with traditional project constraints (scope, timeline, quality)
• (Optional) Familiar with ITIL processes, in particular, change management, release management and service management
• (Optional) Familiar with software quality standards and in assuring quality in IT projects
• (Optional) Good understanding of Open-Source technologies, knowledge of OS architectures

Specific Expertise

• (Optional) Microservices-based projects (practical experience)
• (Optional) Project based on C# / .NET (API)
• (Optional) Understanding of Azure Pipelines (CI/CD) and modern Git branching strategies (GitFlow, Trunk-Based Development)
• (Optional) Project using Containers (Docker & RHOS orchestration, production deployments)
• (Optional) Hybrid Delivery: Strong experience in dual roles (Scrum Master + Project Manager), balancing agile delivery with traditional project constraints (scope, timeline, budget)
• (Optional) Work Organization: Ability to structure complex project goals into clear tasks, manage resource allocation, and handle team capacity planning
• (Optional) Experience in managing and verifying developer Time Sheets, tracking project burn-rates, and monitoring of sprints/project progress
• (Optional) Architecture: Good conceptual understanding of Microservices architecture, distributed systems, and asynchronous communication (e.g., Kafka)
• (Optional) Projects in different security domains (unclassified/classified)
• (Optional) Tech Stack Awareness: Familiarity with the lifecycle of applications built on .NET/C# (backend) and Angular (frontend) to effectively understand technical blockers
• (Optional) Azure DevOps: Advanced, practical knowledge of Azure Boards (configuring workflows, sprints, custom work items, and queries)

Professional skills with respect to experience, training and certification

• Certified in project management discipline (PM2, PRINCE, PMI)
• Active Agile certification (e.g., PM2, PSM I/PSM II, CSM, AgilePM) or prove of practical knowledge
